Foundation of Light will be hosting an open evening for those interested in finding out more about the new Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching.
The information session will take place at the Beacon of Light on Thursday 10 March, 6.00 – 7.30pm.
The course will kick off in September 2022 and has been designed in conjunction with the EFL Trust.
This Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development aims to perfect the type of skills and qualities that are required to work within professional football clubs, community departments or national governing bodies; specialising in areas of growth, such as social inclusion, community coaching and football development.
The course will focus on children and youth coaching, sports coaching, football development, social inclusion and sports management skills.
Classes will be based at the Stadium of Light and Beacon of Light, with a minimum of five days per year at the University of South Wales Sport Park,
